It wouldn't be New Year's Eve without a few special Chinese treats!!
Since noodles is often a special dish eaten during Chinese New Year, we held to that tradition making a lamb soup and noodles. Long noodles are eaten at Chinese New Year to symbolize long life. These particular noodles are a recipe from a Chinese friend's hometown. She showed me how to make them a couple of years ago when I'd said I wanted to learn to make the famous Chinese pulled noodles. While this is a pulled noodle and very similar, it's a little different than the ones I'd seen. However, these are really good noodles and the lamb gives them great flavor.
The girls always have fun when they can play with their food first! They all helped pull the noodles before throwing them in the pot to boil.
Jenna wonders what to do with the small piece!
