Chinese New Year's Eve Treats Cont.
Look how long Elizabeth was able to stretch her noodle!
And here's what they looked like when they were finished, yum!
We also made another special sweet treat. It's English name is "Mouth open laughing balls." They are a sweet type of bread rolled in sesame seeds, fried once and then fried again splitting open resembling an open mouth laughing--which is where they get their name.
Jenna, who loves ANY kind of sweet treat, thought these were great!! Randy said all they needed was a bit of powdered sugar and they'd be just like a cake donut (without all the sesame seeds of course). I think we'll make these again sometime! They're pretty quick and easy too:)
