A Science Lesson

Our girls always enjoy helping out when they have the chance.  We always try to make it a fun learning experience.  Recently we were shelling some fresh peas we'd bought from the farmers market.  Suddenly a worm was discovered inside one of the pods.

Lovely little creature isn't it?!  Each girl was given a chance to check out the little worm while we explained what it was doing in there in the first place.

Elly looks at it with amazement and wonder.  She's not afraid at all!

Hannah thought it was a bit amusing and even touched it. This girl's not afraid of a little bug!

Mollie, as you can clearly see, thought the bug was very yucky!!
