At Christmas, we were blessed with some goodies from the states to bake with!! Needless to say, our entire house was very grateful! We don't buy such things here as they can only be purchased in Beijing--where we usually only get there once a month--and they are very expensive imported foods. Anyway, we've been enjoying some of these goodies during the holidays.
Serena decides to bake some cookies from one of these mixes we received recently. Since baking from scratch is much more difficult for a beginner, this was right up her alley--so to speak!
She is just beginning to cook with a little help from bigger sisters and she really enjoys it.
